The Genetics Program is run by the National Board with semen generously donated by breeders in the Charolais industry. The program encourages youth to take an active role in planning their breeding program and allows members to use genetics that would ordinarily be inaccessible.

Youth members who have bred females with semen obtained through the Genetics Program are eligible to exhibit the resulting progeny in special classes at
the Conference and Show.

Questions on the program can be directed to the Program Chair, Natalie Oram.

A huge thank you to the semen donors that make the Genetics Program successful!

2007-2008 program information, including the application form, semen donation form and a list of semen available, will be posted shortly so be sure to keep an eye on the website.
