Purpose:
The Canadian Charolais Youth Association National Board Annual
Essay Competition has been created by the CCYA National Board
to encourage youth to be involved in the Charolais industry
and actively promote the educational endeavors of CCYA members.

Senior
A) Choose a new product/technology/farming method and explain how it has or will impact the agriculture industry.
B) In the future will there
be specific animal welfare regulations for the beef industry as already
set in place in the Canadian hog and dairy industries? Please explain
your rationale and describe the possible effects.
Intermediate
A)
Pick a country and explain how their beef production varies from
Canadian beef production OR explain how beef production varies across
the regions of Canada.
B) Explain marketing
strategies that you would use to promote your farming operation, and
expand on the importance of marketing.
Junior
A) Tell a story about your favorite CCYA Conference and Show OR 4-H project.
